Our Story: From Passion to Purpose
Born from the vision of the World Wide Technology Raceway ownership group, Raceway Gives was established in 2019 to ensure the track’s impact extended far beyond the finish line.
We realized that a racetrack is a giant laboratory—full of physics, engineering, and technology—waiting to be explored.
By opening our gates to schools and community groups, we transform the spectator experience into a learning opportunity.
Our History
Revitalized under the leadership of Curtis Francois, World Wide Technology Raceway has transformed from a shuttered facility into a premier motorsports destination. Raceway Gives was born from Curtis’s vision to ensure this success benefits the entire community, turning the track into a powerful engine for social good.
Strategic Pillars
The Raceway Gives programs focus on three pillars:
1. STEM Education
Motorsport’s/STEM experiences for
kids: Turning the race track into a living classroom where physics, math, and engineering come to life through hands-on experiences.
2. Community Impact
Community Involvement (High
Schools, Youth Clubs, and Military families) that enables gifted, diverse and underserved children to experience WWTR facilities and events.
3. Community Enrichment
Building bridges between passion and profession by connecting youth with mentorships and providing ways to show
appreciation to adult mentors and
volunteer leaders.
