Local Volunteers Recognized with Bommarito Automotive Group 500 Tickets

MADISON, Ill. (Feb. 17, 2026) – World Wide Technology Raceway on behalf of the Raceway Gives Foundation is thrilled to invite Need Paws Rescue to the 10th annual Bommarito Automotive Group 500 on June 7.

Needy Paws Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer organization that is 100% foster-based to save dogs in need in and around the St. Louis area. Since April 15, 2014, Need Paws Rescue volunteers have found homes for over 8,000 dogs and the organization is always looking for new fosters.

“Needy Paws Rescue staff and volunteers are overwhelmed by the kindness of businesses like World Wide Technology Raceway who have compassion for our rescue dogs. The most heartening news is WWTR’s donation of 40 tickets to give our volunteers a day to enjoy themselves after giving hundreds of hours rescuing dogs,” said Mary Brown at Needy Paws Rescue. “Our volunteers truly appreciate that you think of them and they can’t wait for the WWTR Bommarito 500 in June!”

The tickets donated will be distributed among the charities volunteers that dedicate countless hours of their time and resources to rescuing these animals and finding them their forever homes.

This partnership highlights the shared commitment of both organizations to strengthening the local community through compassion and service. Through partnerships like this, Raceway Gives continues its commitment to making a positive difference both on and off the track.

The 10th annual Bommarito Automotive Group 500 NTT INDYCAR SERIES race shows some of the best racing the sport has to offer with spectacular on-track action and stunning sunset views. The race is back in prime time on FOX on June 7 after a successful2025 showcase.
